Catch the First Glimpse of the Audi Q8 Concept

Audi gave drivers an early Christmas gift last Thursday with an early look at the new Q8 concept. The automaker is set to unveil it at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit in the New Year; however, it evidently couldn't wait to tease critics, drivers and dealers alike with sketches of the highly anticipated full-size SUV.

The Q8 will join the Q3, Q5, SQ5 and Q7 family as the top-of-the-line SUV model. The teaser images portray the concept as a crossover-SUV with coupe-like proportions, boasting a signature single-frame grille that's slightly larger than other models but still familiar and unique to the Audi brand.

As a concept we're still waiting for official details on horsepower and torque, but we can only assume it will be powerful. What we also assume is that it will come standard with Audi's legendary quattro® all-wheel drive system, along with a great deal of other next-generation Audi technology. Considering Audi's success with its current crossover and SUV lineup, we're certainly looking forward to learning more about the Q8, and eventually welcoming it to our Coral Gables showroom.

Be sure to keep a close eye on our blog as we gather more details on the concept and keep you posted in the New Year. If you just can't wait to take the wheel of one of Audi's innovations, feel free to check out its latest advancements in our new inventory.
